  Hi I'm Graham, I l♥ve U2 and their music and I live by the Irish Sea in Blackpool♣, Lancashire, UK.    I live opposite, as the gull flys, from where Bono lives; did you know Dublin; is gaelic for Blackpool? . 

I got into U2 during 1983 after I first heard 'New Year's Day'.  I like plenty of bands/artists, but U2 have only been the band who ever really mattered.  Since '83 I've been a U2 fan club member from U2 Info Service* (I got a name check in U2 magazine no. 10 - February 1984), visiting Sister, Sister and U2 World Service, through Propaganda to all incarnations of U2.com. *wonder what ever happened to Geoff Parkyn.

My favorite U2 albums are 'All that you can't leave behind' and 'Pop' I can't really decide between these two LPs .... OK then 'POP'.

My favorite U2 songs are: 'Until the End of the World', 'Electrical Storm', 'Out of Control', 'Yoshino Blossom' and 'Love Comes Tumbling'.

 joshthetree© is an anagram of 'The Joshua Tree' my favorite U2 album until 'POP'.  Sometimes I wish I'd chosen a different user name like popmarteer or pophead. 

Though nolonger my favorite U2 album 'The Joshua Tree' is still very importnat to me.  It holds some very special memories for me, this record along with 'War' and 'The Unforgettable Fire' were the soundtrack to my life growing up in the eighties.  The Joshua Tree was such a big part of my life that we took a road trip round Southern California to find U2's joshua tree.  More info on U2's joshua tree is in My Media.

I've been lucky enough to see U2 'live' a few times since the eighties and my favorite shows are: The Joshua Tree Tour Ellend Road, Leeds; Love Town, Dortmund; Zoo TV Sheffield Arena; Popmart Lansdowne Road, Dublin; Elevation Tour, Manchester Arena; Vertigo Tour, Glasgow and 360° Tour Croke Park, Dublin.  Bono London 01 by me.
