We are from Chile. We have beautiful memories of PopMart 1998 and Vertigo 2006 in Santiago. U2 left an indelible mark on his visit to our country with his music and humanitarian work, which has a significant weight and it is listened to and admired around the world.
Chile is experiencing the greatest catastrophe of the century, a terrible earthquake and tsunami that devastated whole villages, leaving millions of families homeless, thousands missing and more than 800 people dead.
Please, we ask for them with great humility that the message of U2 can help our country and so Chile can say goodbye to pain.
Somos de Chile. Tenemos hermosos recuerdos de PopMart 1998 y Vertigo 2006 en Santiago. U2 dejo una huella imborrable en su paso por nuestro país con su música y labor humanitaria, la cual tiene un peso importante y es escuchado y admirado en todo el mundo.
Chile está sufriendo la mayor catástrofe del siglo XXI, un terrible terremoto y tsunami que han devastado pueblos completos, dejando a millones de familias damnificadas, miles de desaparecidos y más de 800 personas fallecidas.
Por favor, nosotros solicitamos con mucha humildad que el mensaje de U2 pueda ayudar a nuestro país y así Chile pueda decirle Adiós al dolor.
